Know How Network Mission
The Know How Network is an RSVP program, funded in part by the Corporation for National and Community Service and the Volunteer Center of the East Bay. The Know How Network mission is to foster skills based giving. We help volunteers with professional experience put those skills to good use helping local nonprofits increase or improve the services they provide. We help nonprofits understand the preferences of skilled volunteers and develop appropriate volunteer project opportunities.

RSVP Contra Costa
RSVP Contra Costa is a program for volunteers ages 55 and over. Its primary focus is to help volunteers and nonprofits benefit from skills based giving through the Know How Network. Additionally, RSVP serves as a referral link for volunteers interested in ongoing predefined volunteer opportunities at nonprofits that address two of Contra Costa’s most critical needs: poverty and aging in place.
